Kokom Scrunchies was founded by Mya, when she was 9 years old. A talented Indigenous youth from Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation. Inthe Algonquin language, Kokom means grandmother.Since launched in the fall of 2019, Kokom Scrunchies has operated as a family run business. Together we ensure that all Kokom Scrunchies are handmade in Canada
